The Edward German discography

The Peter Dawson recordings

Peter Dawson was one of the most popular baritones and recording artists from the beginning of sound recordings. His recorded output included not only Edward German, but Gilbert and Sullivan, and many other sorts of popular music.

The following information was extracted from his biography, "Peter Dawson - The World's Most Popular Baritone" by Russell Smith and Peter Burgis, (Currency Press, Sydney, Australia, 2001) and contributed by Robert Morrison. He has a number of the listed recordings, (reissued on CD) and has noted which CD compilations the songs appear on. The list is not complete, so if you know of one that is not included, please send me the details.
