The London Times of Saturday, Apr 23, 1938 (pg. 8) lists among the radio
programmes to be broadcast "songs and scenes from Fallen Fairies; or, The
Wicked World, a light fantastic opera; lyrics by W.S. Gilbert; music by
Edward German; with Lorely Dyer, Doris Vane, Dennis Noble, Stanley Pope,
Jean Roper, Thelma Sheehan; The B.B.C. Women’s Chorus and the B.B.C.
Theatre Orchestra, conductor, Stanford Robinson".
The broadcast actually appeared on Apr 24 at 9:05pm.
